limina gathering

about

Limina Gathering is a space of healing and reclamation. A celebration of culture, queerness, neurodiversity, and resilience. Everyone is welcome.

Four days of wilderness and ancestral skills, hosted by a collection of dedicated facilitators. There are daytime scheduled workshops plus an ongoing skills camp.

We are gathering at Linnaea Farm on Cortes Island, on traditional Klahoose, Tla’amin, and Homalco Salish Nations.

where we’re at

Our venue on Cortes Island is Linnaea Farm, an organic permaculture farm and Cortesian landmark.

Linnaea sits on 314 acres of farm and forest on the shores of Gunflint Lake.  The farm is stewarded by five families in a land trust, under the cooperative model.  It is a self-described ecological agricultural oasis, practicing permaculture principles and opening its doors to kids camps, educational programs, and visitors.

Limina Gathering will be held at the Farmhouse and surrounding areas, next to Gunflint Lake.  Workshops will happen both indoors at the Farmhouse and outdoors on the meadows, and the skills camp tent will be set up on the beach.
