The outdoor kitchen and eating area is at the epicentre of Limina and worksop sites. An outdoor kitchen is available for participants to use to prepare breakfast and lunch.
Please bring your own chair or blanket to sit on during workshops and dinners.
Dinner is provided by the gathering for all participants and accommodates a range of dietary needs including gluten-free, dairy-free, vegetarian, and vegan options. All dishes, drinking vessels, utensils, and any items needed for meal prep are BYO.
Abundance Community Farm is located up a 50-m gravelled driveway with accessibility parking spots at the end. Its grounds consist of mainly flat grassy lawn, accessible by wheelchairs and for those with limited mobility.
Two of the four workshop sites are outdoor or ground-floor level, accessible by wheelchair and by those with limited mobility. The other two workshops sites and the indoor accommodations are up single story flight of stairs. Gathering-wide workshops will take place outdoors on the lawn. Camping spots are available on the meadow and for those with access needs camping is also available by one’s vehicle.
Limina Gathering is a scent-free event, including the use of perfumes and essential oils.
Limina is supported by a ground-support crew who overseas logistics (such as registration and helping participants orient themselves) and a care team, who is there for psychoemotional support and decompression. The care team has a dedicated space and is on-hand at specific drop-in times throughout the gathering.
Facilitators will speak about their offerings on Thursday evening after dinner.
Workshop and skills camp times will be posted near the kitchen for everyone to see and plan their daily flow. Please note that some workshops and skills offerings have a limited number of people and are first-come/first-served by signup after the facilitators speak on Thursday.
Please feel invited to share! Bring a skill, a craft project, a story, a song. Whatever your passion is and however your creativity flows, you are welcome to share at the gathering. We co-create this space together.
We ask that skill-sharing and storytelling be offered in alignment with etiquette and protocol, from your own ancestry or inducted lineage.
We welcome families to this event! Childcare is provided by the gathering for young children and a Kids Camp takes place alongside the workshop lineup.
Children 12 and under get free tuition for the gathering. Caregivers and parents, please select “Child 12 and younger” if you are bringing a young one to the gathering.
We are unable to host pets at Limina Gathering due to the farm work happening at Abundance. Certified service animals are of course welcome. Please let us know if you will be bringing a service animal.
Limina’s atmosphere is one of healing, celebration, and renewal. We ask you to leave the recreational use of substances, including alcohol, cannabis, and tobacco, at home to immerse yourself in the reflective culture of the gathering. There will be ceremonial use of tobacco and other plants during the week.
Thank you for being here and please send any questions or feedback to firstname.lastname@example.org.
