Jean Madrone is an herbalist, somatic experiencing trauma therapy practitioner, abortion doula, and mama living on Squaxin and Nisqually territory in Olympia, WA. In addition to family practice herbalism, they focus on supporting folks in healing from early and complex trauma and co-occurring syndromes, particularly through integrating touch, herbs, and somatic awareness. Jean loves matchmaking plants and people. They love the magic and the sacred in the everyday and the way that the work that they are honored to do can weave the two together. Jean’s work is grounded in clinical and energetic herbalism, nutrition, elemental constitution and magic, and harm reduction. Jean was raised in the South and part of their heart will always be there. They really, really love the mountains and the waters in both places. Jean is a white, queer, nonbinary, & disabled mama of a fabulous ten-year old.
