Limina Gathering is taking place at Abundance Community Farm.
A forested farm acreage on the north shore of the Fraser River, on Sts’ailes Nation territory.
Abundance is a cooperatively-run working farm nestled between mountain and river. The farm was born out of a need in the urban community to have land for growing food and creating intentional gatherings.
We are excited to be welcomed as the first skills gathering at Abundance to deepen into connection with this land.
Abundance Community Farm
is located at 1020 Hamilton Rd, Agassiz, BC. It is two hours east from the city of Vancouver.
Abundance has a woodstove-heated lounge and an upstairs dance hall converted from an old dairy barn, where Limina will house its indoor workshops. It is surrounded by forest and water to move in with a large meadow for gathering-wide workshops and play.
Abundance offers both camping and indoor accommodation. See the accommodations page for more information. Camping is free for all Limina participants and indoor accommodations are extra. You can choose your option at checkout.
We are gathering on the territory of the Sts’ailes First Nation (pronounced “che-hay-lis”). Sts’ailes are an upriver Halqemeylem-speaking people and part of the Sto:lo Nations. Their ancestral villages are on the Fraser and Harrison Rivers and they have been tending the land and waters here for millennia.
