Sara Ross

sara ross

Sara has been paying attention to birds for her entire life, and she loves to share her bird passion with others. She is a former Lead Instructor at Soaring Eagle Nature School, and has worked, studied, and practiced with birds in the Fraser Valley for 20+ years.

Sara identifies as part of the Scottish Diaspora, and works to be a worthy, albeit uninvited, guest on Coast Salish territories by supporting front-line First Nations warriors. She is keenly investigating her ancestral lineages through hand-skills such as spinning wool, weaving, loom building, and mending. Sara is mother to a 5-year old, and she runs a micro plant-based business called Land Connection Medicine.
